Internal Institute Level Hackathon SIH2023

Smart India Hackathon-2023 is a nationwide initiative to provide students a platform to solve some of the pressing problems we face in our daily lives, and thus inculcate a culture of product innovation and a mindset of problem-solving.

          All the students are hereby informed that the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MIC) in coordination with All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has launched Smart India Hackathon (SIH-2023).

For Formation of teams, the following rules should be followed

1. All team members should be from same college; no inter-college teams are allowed. However, members from different branches of the same college/ institute are encouraged to form a team.
2. Each team would mandatorily comprise of 6 members including the team leader.
3. Each team must have AT LEAST ONE FEMALE TEAM MEMBER. 
4. As the software edition of the hackathon is digital product development competition, majority of the team members MUST be well versed with programming skills.
5. For the hardware edition, we encourage multi-disciplinary teams which means your team should have a good mix of Mechanical Engineers, Electronic Engineers, Product Designers and Programmers, etc.
6.  Students have to prepare their team under the guidance of One Mentor (Faculty Member) for  SIH-2023 and submit their proposal on or before 15/09/2023.
7. After getting the proposals from all team members we would have to organize Internal Hackathon-2023 on the college level, on which we will finalize the total best 30 teams+5 wait listed teams from the Internal hackathon-2023.
8. After finalizing best 30 teams+5 wait listed teams SPOC will have to do the registration of selected teams for the SIH-2023 Software/Hardware edition at the SIH portal.

1) The last date of submitting the proposal for the Internal Hackathon is 15/09/2023.
