Parents Meet for the parents of first year & second students was organised on Saturday, 16/11/2024 in college campus.
Mr Jayant Wankhede was present as the parent’s representative for this meet.
Dr Ravindra Kadu, Secretary of SSPM was the Chief guest of the program. Dr S.M.Kherde, Principal, Sipna College of Engineering & Technology, Dr N.V. Shirbhate, Head of Science & Humanities Department, Degree Program Coordinator Dr V.T. Gaikwad were present on the dais along with chief guest & parent’s representative.
Heads of the various departments, Librarian, all Deans & DPCs were also present for the program.
In the welcome speech Dr. N.V. Shirbhate, HOD, Science & Humanities, shared the information of the department and the various schemes, practices, facilities provided for the students.
In his address, Principal Dr. S. M. Kherde focused on institutional information & various achievements of the institute. He also focused on the continuous development, value addition, certification of the institute and various activities in the institute for the all-round development of the students. He appealed the parents to guide their ward for the use of various facilities in the institute.
Dr Ravindra Kadu sir, Secretary of SSPM, threw light on the benefits of institutional autonomy & the New Education Policy (NEP) that is being adopted by the institute. He also assured about the support of college administration & management for the growth & development of institute.
Parents were invited to express their views, feedback & any suggestions regarding the growth & overall development of the institute. It was great interaction with parents on academics and all-round development of students. Parents appreciated the efforts those are being taken by the institute.
Parent’s representative Mr Jayant Wankhede reviewed the points of discussion in his speech and expressed satisfaction about the efforts taken by college and teachers. He also focused on parents’ responsibility in overall development of students.
At the end, Parents had discussion with class teacher & subject teachers regarding academic performance of their ward in First Mid Sem Examination & their attendance.
The program was anchored by Prof Priti Rajas and vote of thanks was proposed by Prof M.R. Jadhav & program was concluded with the delicious lunch at college cafeteria.
