PARENTS MEET 2025-26

Parents Meet for the academic year 2025-26 was conducted on Saturday, 29/11/2025 in college at 10 a.m. The meet was graced by the presence of around 150 parents. The distinguished dignitaries present during the meet were Dr. S. M. Kherde, Principal, Sipna College of Engineering & Technology, Amravati, Dr. N. V. Shirbhate, HOD, Science & Humanities, Dr. Kshitij Patankar as chief guest, Mrs. Sarika Mathane as the parents’ representative and degree program coordinator Dr. V. T. Gaikwad. All the Heads of various departments, Librarian, all Deans, representative of III&CR were also present for the meet.

Parents meet started with welcome address and introductory remarks of Dr. N. V. Shirbhate, HOD, Science & Humanities. In the introductory remark he shared institutional information and the various schemes, practices, facilities provided by the college for the students. It was followed by the speech of Principal Dr. S. M. Kherde. He gave information about various clubs, accreditation and affiliation and shared his worthy experience with parents. He threw light on the continuous development, value addition, certification of the institute and various programs conducted by the institute. The chief guest and keynote speaker Dr. Kshitij Patankar, shared his views and addressed the gathering regarding parenting.

 Parents were invited to express their views about college and department, regarding development of their wards and to come up with suggestions. It was great interaction on academics, importance of practical knowledge, moral duties of students, recent development and emerging areas for students and their performance in mid semester examination. All the parents participated in discussion with their queries and valuable suggestions.

At the end, parents’ representative Mrs. Sarika Mathane reviewed the points of discussion in her speech and expressed satisfaction about the efforts taken by college and teachers. She said that students should take the benefits of facilities like library and practice self-study. She also focused on parents’ responsibility in overall development of students. After this, parents discussed about the academic performance of their ward like class attendance, marks in mid semester examination and overall discipline in the college with the class teachers.

 The session was anchored by Dr. S. B. Jalamkar and vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. P. G. Rajas. The parents’ meet was followed by lunch.
