We are delighted to share glimpses from the grand inauguration ceremony of the UltraTech Cement Centre of Excellence at the Department of Civil Engineering, Sipna College of Engineering & Technology, Amravati. This landmark initiative marks a significant step towards strengthening the bond between academia and industry, fostering innovation, practical learning, and technical excellence for our students.
The ceremony was graciously presided over by Respected President Shri Jagdishji Gupta Sir, under the inspiring leadership of Hon’ble Principal Dr. S. M. Kherde Sir, and in the esteemed presence of distinguished dignitaries from UltraTech Cement — Mr. Arvind Mahajan Sir (VP & Zonal Head, Technical Customer Solution), Mr. Avdesh Upadhyay Sir (Regional Head, Vidarbha Technical Customer Solution), Mr. Ajay Pusatkar Sir (Territory Sales Head, Amravati), and Mr. Nitin Kangate Sir (Territory Manager, Technical Service Solution, Amravati).
We were also privileged by the gracious presence of esteemed guests from the professional civil engineering fraternity — Mr. Amit Gilda (Chairman, ICI, Amravati Chapter), Mr. Milind Kahale (President, Association of Consulting Civil Engineers, Amravati), and Mr. Rajan Patil (President, CREDAI, Amravati).
Prof. Ravi Rothkar, Head of Civil Engineering Department, and Prof. Sarjerao Patil, coordinator of this Lab, were present on this occasion.
