Sipna College of Engineering and Technology, Amravati organized webinar on “Fundamentals of IPR and Indian Patent Filing Procedure”

Considering the importance of the Intellectual Property Rights, a webinar was organized on 20th August 2020 by Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering with Multidisciplinary Research Centre, Sipna College of Engineering and Technology, Amravati in association with IETE Amravati Centre and CSI Amravati Chapter. The webinar was inaugurated through worthy bytes of Dr. J. W. Bakal, IETE, President, HQ, New Delhi, Dr. C. M. Jadhao, Chairman, IETE Amravati Centre, Dr. P. M. Jawandhiya, CSI Amravati Chapter, Dr. S. M. Kherde, Principal, Sipna College of Engineering and Technology, Amravati, Dr. Avinash Gawande, HOD, Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering and Dr. Sandeep Rode, Dean, Development and Planning, Sipna College of Engineering and Technology, Amravati. The session was conducted by Dr. Jitendra Edle through YouTube Premiere Session.

In this session, different dimensions of IPR, Patentability Criteria, Patent Draft Contents, Indian Patent filing Procedure and Office Procedures along with different patent applications and what are patentable subject matter and non-patentable subject matters were discussed in detail. In this webinar, 73 participants from academics and corporate world had participated.
